Langley (Quad) Meet: Danny Mittel and Peter Kinton earned recognition for their contributions to the men's team while Laura Kellan was the women's athlete of the meet. Danny and Peter both had tremendous swims during the quad meet. They had season-best times in the 50 free and 100 fly (Danny) and 200 and 500 free (Peter). Laura earned her award for showing great heart, perseverance and leadership. Despite jamming her fingers during the first event of the night, Laura continued to fight the entire evening. She never complained once and never shied away from the challenges of the meet. She faced adversity and swam right through it.
Fairfax Meet: Grayson Campbell earned recognition for his strong start to the season. Grayson broke the team diving record twice during the first four weeks of the season already. He continued his success with another strong performance against Fairfax. Ali Queen was the women's athlete of the meet for her performance in the 100 fly and 100 breaststroke. Her times continue to drop and she is well-positioned already for championship season.
