The men's and women's teams had a very successful night tonight in our first-ever tri-meet against Oakton and Langley. The en defeated Langley by a score of 166-146, while the women defeated the Saxons by a score of 163.5-151.5. Both teams also narrowly lost to Oakton, with the men losing by a score of 160-155 and the women falling by a score of 163-152.
Both teams continued to see swimmers and divers building on their earlier successes. There were a number of personal-best times throughout the lineup. Several swimmers also began to establish themselves as integral pieces to our overall success, including many freshmen. The future is clearly very bright for both teams.
Next opponent: We will complete the first half of the season next Friday against Fairfax High School. It is also our annual alumni night so be sure to come out and join the fun.
