A little media coverage..

The team has received some media coverage over the past couple of weeks that you may not have seen. Here is a sampling...

One thing that I think is interesting is how much of the coverage gives short shrift to the team aspect of our success. Reporters love the individual exploits of event winners. What they often miss is the larger story of how a group of talented athletes can combine into a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts. It may be cliche but it is true of our success here at Madison. And that is why we often get overlooked by others even as we establish our team as one of the most dominant in the area.

So keep up the good work. Compete hard for your teammates. And we'll gladly succeed and excel in relative obscurity. And if people choose to underestimate the talent we have then they will discover the error of their assessment soon enough!
