Did You Notice Anything Different on the Video Board?!?

You may have noticed a significant change to the video board during tonight's Concorde Invitational Meet. We had names and times on the board! Thanks to the Michelle Roth's and Renae Miller's hard work during the poinsettia sale we now have a Colorado Timing System that is the envy of the Northern Region. Dan Keating's persistence was also instrumental in making sure we purchased the finest system possible.

And tonight, thanks to the hard work of Larry Card, we put the system to use for the first time! Larry provided expert knowledge in not only getting the system set up, but in setting up the computer as well. Larry fielded untold numbers of emails from me as we gathered entry files from each school in the district and imported their data to the computer. We would not have been able to make the system work if not for Larry's hard work and expert knowledge.

There are many other people who have contributed to the success of our new CTS system, including:
  • Paris Jacobs who continues to provide insight and expertise.
  • Ann Kuhlkin whose "moral support" tonight and over the past few weeks gave me piece of mind.
  • Steve Kenney who came out over winter break to help put the system together.
  • Brian Pawlowitz and Jim Thompson, both of whom have provided support to the northern region for years, came out during winter break and hosted custom training over the holiday break.
  • Nancy Socher and John Kenny who provided financial support via the Madison Athletic Boosters.
Thanks to everyone for all you've done to help make this dream a reality!
