Congratulations to both the men's and women's teams on ringing in the New Year with victories over the South Lakes Seahawks this past Friday night!
The men's team defeated South Lakes by a score of 176-138. The men won 8 out of 12 events during the meet, including individual wins by Aidan Jones (200 free), Kevin Rice (200 IM and 100 breast), Owen Dyson (50 free and 500 free), and Benham Cobb (100 fly).
The women's team won their meat against the Seahawks by a score of 197-112. The women also dominated the competition, winning 11 out of 12 events during the night, including wins by 6 different individuals: Celia Bredehoeft (200 free), Hannah Carmen (200 IM and 500 free), Charlotte Dixon (50 free and 100 back), Lucy Silverstein (dive), Maggie Shi (100 fly), and Emma Wainwright (100 free).
Next opponent: The Warhawks return to the water next Friday night against the Colgan Sharks at South Run RECenter. The meet will start at 6:30 with diving, followed by the swimming events.
