As you no doubt know by now ... there is no school tomorrow (Friday). That means that preliminaries for Districts are now canceled. Instead, there will be timed finals on Saturday night. That means that you get one chance to swim as fast as you can. There will be no holding back for another day. It's do or die in every event.
Make sure that you're doing what you can to ensure that you perform at your highest level -- not only for yourself but for your teammates as well.
- Get lots of rest tonight and tomorrow.
- Stay hydrated and stretch out each night.
- Shave on Saturday morning/afternoon (here are some tips for the men ...)
- Eat right and avoid junk.
- Prepare yourselves mentally to compete on Saturday.
