Congratulations to both the men's and women's teams for their victories tonight over Washington-Lee. In the first-ever regular season matchup between Madison and W-L the men were victorious by a score of 204-108, while the women handled the Generals by a score of 187-128.
Just like last night, the men demonstrated tremendous depth. All 4 individual swimmers finished in the top-6 in eight of nine individual events, including a sweep of the 50 freestyle. The women were similarly successful, taking four of the top-6 spots in six out of nine individual events. Grayson Campbell also broke his own team record in the diving event for the second consecutive night.
Next opponents: Next week is our tri-meet against Langley and Oakton. It should be an exciting night as we compete against the past two state champions.
