The men's and women's teams both moved to 3-0 to start the season with wins against Fairfax tonight at Oak Marr. The men's team won by a score of 216-96 while the women defeated the Rebels by a score of 184-131.
The men won their meet by dominating Fairfax in every event. The men won 11 of 12 events, including taking the top two spots in the 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle relays, and sweeping the 100 butterfly and diving events. The women won their meet with superior depth. The team only won 5 events but consistently placed at least three swimmers in the top 5 in 8 of 12 events. Both teams found success despite missing a number of key contributors to the Dolan meet.
Next opponent: Madison takes on two of the most successful swim and dive programs in the state next week as we take on Oakton and Langley at Oak Marr.
