South Lakes Results

Both the men's and women's teams won thrilling victories against South Lakes tonight at the Herndon Community Center. The women won their meet by a final score of 170.5 to 144.5, while the men edged past the Seahawks by a score of 157-155.

Both teams had a number of exciting performances to lead the way to victory. The women's team saw two school records broken on the way to winning 10 out of the 12 events. They broke the school record in the very first event in winning the 200 medley with a time of 1:50.20. The team was made up of Rachael Holp, Anna Keating, Elizabeth Kuhlkin and Anna Miller. The second record was set by Anna Keating who broke the 100 breaststroke record with a time of 1:05.25. The men had a bigger challenge in winning their meet. The was tied 147-147 going into the final event, which the Warhawks won to secure the meet.

Next Opponent: Madison will take on Washington & Lee on Saturday night.
