Congratulations to Will Noel and Garrett Smith for earning their "E's" this week. Both Will and Garrett consistently demonstrate a strong work ethic and desire to improve their times. And the result of their hard work are personal-best times week-in and week-out. Both young men are enjoying break-out seasons that are helping make a strong men's team even more formidable.
Will put forth so much effort tonight in his 100 freestyle that he became ill and had to come out of the meet. While it is not advisable to swim quite so hard, Will's never-say-die attitude and willingness to give every last ounce of effort in his swims are certainly commendable.
Garrett continues to challenge himself every day in practice. He leads his lane and takes instruction well. His strokes continue to improve as a result of his hard work and Garrett is now an invaluable part of our team's overall success.
